And at todays Tiny Tots visit Kellar weighed….
10 lbs 14.6 oz and is a little over 22 inches long…Kellar is gaining about a ounce a day, and so far they are pleased with his weight gain..They did however switch his formula to NeoCate to see if this will help his tummy a little..I was concerned because he is not pooping as much as I think he should be, Cary checked his tummy out and said it looks good and is very active sounding…I have noticed that he is not spitting up near as much with the new formula, he does have the “wet” burp when I burp him, but I don’t notice him spitting up hours after his feedings…We will go back to Dallas next Fri to check how his weight is since the switch of formula has knocked his calories from 24 to 20…Last night we were doing tummy time, and I notice Kellar will stretch his legs out and and push up, well he managed to push himself up and over his boppy, he did this several times so Joey and I put him on a blanket and he was scooting across it on his belly, I think he’ll be crawling before I know it…
1st visit from ECI…
Kellar had his 1st visit from Ms. McDonald from ECI today…The visit was not what I expected by far, but it went well regardless..I guess I was expecting her to come in and move him every which a way, move his legs, arms and all that good stuff, but really it was just a bunch of questions…He did however “show off” for her and started kicking his legs and moving his arms all about, and even let out a few squeals…She thought he looked really well and said from what she sees so far she doesn’t think Kellar will have any issues…We did stand him up just to see what he did with his legs and he started picking them up as if he were stepping, she said he is very alert and that really all he should be doing right now is eating, pooping and sleeping…They only adjust back 2 months, so where Kellar was born a little over 5 months ago, if you go by his due date he would be almost 2 months, but since they adjust for 2 they have him at 3 months old..( that was a mouthful…) I was pleased with her and the services they offer, on the 28th a OT and ST are going to come out and take a look at Kellar…She said maybe the ST can help with his reflux issues and is wanting the OT to come out to see if there is anything she may be concerned with and to watch Kellar move his legs and stuff…Here’s praying that all will go well with the next visit…

Tiny Tots update…
Kellar at his last Tiny Tots visit weighed in at a whoppin 10 lbs 1 oz…Joey said he would weigh at least 10 lbs all along, I wasn’t so sure…He eats really well don’t get me wrong, but I just never expected him to gain a lb in a week…They said that if he continues to gain this well over the next 2 wks they are going to drop the calories from 24 to 22…He also is on one less medication, and the NP decided to switch him from the EES to a different type of medicine to hopefully help with this reflux…All in all she said that Kellar looks good and we will make another trip to Dallas in 2 wks for a follow up appt…
